The Gordon Arms is located directly on the side of the A702 Trunk Road, which runs from the outskirts of Edinburgh, to its junction with the M74 motorway.
If you are travelling from the North
Leave The Edinburgh City Bypass at the Hillend junction, following signs for Carlisle. Follow the A702 south-west, for approximately 11.5 miles, until you enter the village of West Linton. Continue along the A702 for a few hundred meters and you will see the Gordon Arms situated on the left hand side of the road. The turning into the car park is immediately before the gable-end of the building on your left hand side.
If you are travelling from the South
Leave the M74 at the Abington turn off, signposted Biggar and Edinburgh. Travel North on the A702 for approximately 23 miles, through Coulter, Biggar and Dolphinton, until you reach the village of West Linton. Continue on the A702 for a few hundred meters until you see the Gordon Arms on your right hand side. The car park is located at the far (northern-most) end of the building.
